Wastewater News: Hach’s m-ColiBlue24 Media is Back for Wastewater E. coli Analysis!

You are probably aware as of March 26, 2009 HACH recommended that you discontinue the use of any m-ColiBlue24 broth that was purchased after March 1 of 2008. Letters from HACH and notifications were sent out State wide from TAUD and MTAS to get the word out. At that time regulators were requiring systems to make necessary changes immediately! Wastewater systems across the state scrambled to find an alternative approved method to perform their E. coli testing. Now it has been announced that m-ColiBlue24 has been cleared to be put back in to service and is available for order as of June 9, 2009! A customer letter explaining the problem and availability of the media will be sent to all past customers.
