Position Title: Operations Specialist
Reports to: General Manager
Job Description: Working with management to effectively locate, map and maintain the District’s assets utilizing GIS mapping equipment. This role will serve as the primary liaison for the general public, contractors, developers, engineers and other utilities as requested. This position may also be responsible for the cross connection and backflow prevention program.
Experience: 5 years in combination of education and field experience.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Strong preference for advanced degree in math, science or engineering.
Certifications & Licenses: Candidate must attain Cross Connection certification within 1 year of hire and TN distribution license within 2 years. Preference for GIS professional certifications.
Work Environment: 50% outdoors and 50% in office environment.
Position Type: Full time, non-exempt
Pay range: Dependent upon experience, education and qualifications
