I have a working Gmail account on my Outlook but I want to set one up for my wife. It works fine logging in from IE. I have enabled the POP 3 and I have followed all of these instructions but when I try to send and receive in Outlook it asks for my password continuously then fails.

To break yourself out of this additional subfolder and have all these folders listed directly under your mailbox in Outlook, you can set a root folder for your Gmail IMAP account.
