I just got a new laptop recently, and after installing zoom, I realised I couldn’t get past the log in page without a “You are unable to connect to Zoom. Please check your network connection and try again” pop up. I then use my old laptop to try and find out if its really the connection issue. Low and behold, Zoom runs perfectly fine. Any ideas on why this happens, and how to solve it?

Erina maybe? I reported the issue as fixed after signing in with my personal email account. Then, I tried to use SSO to sign in on the desktop client and had some errors associated with that, and when I went back to sign in with my gmail address I again could not connect to Zoom to log in. So I used the uninstaller again and reinstalled the client – and I will no longer attempt using SSO on the desktop app.

Uninstalled exactly as outlined in the instructions, restarted, downloaded again, and nothing. My internet is working fine, and I don’t have any firewalls put up. This is so frustrating. It was working just fine for weeks prior to this.
This is the way I spent an entire morning with our admin working on this, and this was the solution we needed. This did the trick! Thank you!!! I had the problem for months. No proxy, dns, This was to easy. I had the same problem for a week, and the only thing that worked was to uninstall the application with the ZoomUninstaller file! Thank you so much! Zoom Community.
