J.R. Wauford & Company, Consulting Engineers, Inc. is looking to fill an open Professional Engineer civil engineering position with a determined and hardworking candidate. The position is based out of the firm’s Jackson, Tennessee office with opportunities to work across the State of Tennessee and in Western Kentucky. Candidates for the position should be interested in the municipal water and wastewater sector and have a strong work ethic and desire to gain knowledge and experience required to obtain professional engineering licensure. The successful candidate will be responsible in the assisting of the preliminary design of various water and wastewater facilities including development of plans and specifications, data manipulation, permit acquisition, and complete field work including resident project representation and survey. The candidate must have a four-year ABET accredited Civil Engineering Degree upon start date and at least five years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
