We are seeking a skilled and motivated Utility Engineer to join our team. This position will play a key role in the planning, design, and oversight of water and natural gas infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, and the public.

Plan, design, and oversee the construction and maintenance of water and natural gas distribution systems.

Conduct engineering studies, prepare cost estimates, and develop project specifications.

Assist in long-term infrastructure planning and capital improvement projects.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Review engineering plans and drawings for accuracy and compliance.

Collaborate with operations staff to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Prepare reports, maps, and other documentation as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field (required).

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Tennessee, or ability to obtain within 12 months (preferred).

Experience in water and/or natural gas utility engineering strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency in CAD software, GIS mapping, and Microsoft Office Suite.
