The Town of Centerville is accepting applications for a Water Treatment Plant Operator. This position performs skilled tasks operating and maintaining a water treatment plant, monitoring SCADA systems, performing water quality tests, adjusting chemical feed, and maintaining plant equipment to ensure the production of safe drinking water. Responsibilities include but are not limited to meticulous record-keeping, routing maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, and assisting with inspections and regulatory reporting, often requiring flexibility for shift work, on-call duties, and overtime.
