Awards

Each year, the TUEC seeks to award a minimum of four scholarships to eligible recipients. The amount of each scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee and is intended to defray the cost of tuition, books, and room and board.

The four scholarships that TUEC plans to award annually are:

• The Bob Freudenthal Scholarship
• The Harold Clark Scholarship
• The Henry Elrod Scholarship
• The Sam Bruce Scholarship

Before Getting Started:

Make sure you have the following items completed and ready to attach prior to filling out your application:

1. High-School Transcript
2. Student – Letter of Reference – 1
3. Student – Letter of Reference – 2
4. Eligible TAUD Member – Letter of Reference
5. TUEC Certification Form

Optional:

1. College Transcript (Only optional for incoming freshman)
2. Applicant Resume (Suggested but not required)

Important Instructions About This Scholarship

• All questions must be completed.
• If a question does not apply to you, write “N/A.”
• For any additional information provided, reference the specific attachment in the relevant section of the application and include a brief summary in that section.

Failure to meet any of the following requirements will result in disqualification of your application:

1. Leaving any question blank.
2. Failing to attach the required transcript.
3. Failing to attach two letters of reference.

Additional Requirements:

• Responses must be typed.
• Applications must be submitted no later than April 1.
