The City of Brentwood seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join its Water Services team as a Construction Services Superintendent. The City of Brentwood, located in scenic Williamson County, is considered one of the most desirable suburban locations in Tennessee. It sits just south of Nashville and has a population of approximately 46,000 residents. As a member of the Water Services management team, you will play a vital role to ensure sustained reliability of the City’s drinking water and wastewater system.
The Water Services Department handles maintenance of water and sewer infrastructure as well as customer services for the City of Brentwood. The department maintains more than 235 miles of water lines, 26 pump stations, and nine finished-water storage tanks with a storage capacity of 14 million gallons.
As the Construction Services Superintendent you will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of the construction services division. You’ll ensure installation of water and sewer infrastructure, new and rehabilitation, is completed in accordance with the State and City code as well as the department’s planning guidelines and standard specifications. You’ll also work as a member of the management team to ensure construction activities by private development and department capital projects are completed successfully.
